Questions
What does "Coldfinch Enhanced" mean?
We fork the open source app and improve it: consistent design system, built-in AI assistant, MCP server, and CLI. You get a better version of the same tool, not just a hosted copy.
Can I really customize the apps?
Yes. Every app runs from your own fork. Tell our AI what you want changed — new fields, different layout, custom workflows, brand colors. It generates the code, you preview it, approve it, and we deploy.
What is MCP?
Model Context Protocol. It lets AI agents (Claude, GPT, etc.) interact with your apps directly. Your AI assistant can search your wiki, create tasks, manage files — all through a standard interface.
Is this really a flat price per organisation?
Yes. You pay one monthly price regardless of how many users you add. Unlike Slack or HubSpot, your Coldfinch bill does not increase when you hire new people.
Where is my data stored?
All data is stored in Hetzner EU data centres — in Germany or Finland. Coldfinch operates entirely under EU law. No data leaves the EU.
What happens if I want to leave?
Your customizations live in your fork. You can export all data in open formats and take the code with you. No lock-in.
How long does setup take?
Base stack deploys in about 20 minutes. Enhanced apps with customizations take a bit longer depending on what you want changed.
Do I need to know how to code?
No. That is the point. You describe what you want in plain language and our AI makes the changes. If you do know how to code, you can edit your fork directly.
